Role

The Clinical Budget and Contract Analyst is a full-time position supporting Clinical Operations. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and compliant execution of site and vendor agreements to support clinical study start-up and maintenance. This position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including, Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, and external sites/vendors, to streamline contract workflows and support budgetary oversight across TG’s clinical program. The Clinical Budget and Contract Analyst position will report to the Vendor Management Associate.

Key Responsibilities

Manages execution of Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs), Master Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), Single Study Clinical Trial Agreements, and Consulting Agreements

Develops study-specific budget, statement of work, or other related contractual documents

Negotiates and manages site budgets and contracts using the established negotiation and escalation plan

Accurately forecasts contract execution timelines and raises issues to Study Lead as appropriate

Submits relevant documents to the Trial Master File (TMF)

Identifies elements that trigger an out-of-scope activity and works with the study team to prepare updated study-specific contractual documents

Ad Hoc projects, as assigned

Professional Experience/Qualifications

2+ years of relevant experience in clinical contract and budget management preferred

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Experience with contract management systems and budget tools preferred

Prior experience working with CROs, investigative sites, or within a sponsor-side Clinical Operations or Legal team

Excellent organization, time management, and critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously

Familiarity with clinical research processes and procedures

Interact with internal and external customers and vendors with a high degree of professionalism and discretion

Willing to work in a fast-paced environment where individual initiative, a strong sense of compliance and ethics, and accountability to the team are required

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required with a degree in the sciences preferred
