Role

The Manager, Media Analytics & Reporting will be a key member of the Commercial Operations team, responsible for advancing the organization’s media measurement, reporting, and insight-generation capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong media analytics experience, technical capabilities, business intelligence expertise, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Media Analytics & Reporting

  • Own and continuously enhance media performance reporting across channels, partners, campaigns, tactics, audiences, creatives, and geographies.
  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and recurring reporting covering key media metrics including spend, impressions, reach, frequency, engagement, traffic, conversion, efficiency, and audience performance.
  • Analyze media performance to identify trends, drivers, opportunities, and potential areas of inefficiency.
  • Translate campaign data into concise, decision-ready insights for Marketing and Commercial leadership.
  • Establish standardized KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and data-quality controls across media partners and platforms.
  • Partner with agencies and publishers to investigate reporting discrepancies, understand campaign performance, and improve the quality and usability of partner-delivered data.

Media + Commercial Data Integration

  • Connect media exposure and engagement data with field activity, HCP prescribing behavior, and other commercial datasets to develop deeper insights into media effectiveness.
  • Evaluate how media engagement relates to downstream HCP and customer behaviors rather than relying solely on traditional media performance metrics.
  • Develop audience-level, HCP-level, geographic, and longitudinal analyses to better understand promotional engagement and outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve targeting, reach, frequency, audience strategy, channel mix, and campaign execution using integrated commercial data.

Measurement & Advanced Analytics

  • Support measurement of media effectiveness through approaches such as test/control analysis, matched-control studies, geographic experiments, incrementality analysis, attribution, and marketing mix modeling.
  • Partner with internal teams and external measurement partners to design appropriate measurement frameworks for campaigns and tactics.
  • Develop analyses that distinguish between media delivery and engagement metrics and broader indicators of commercial impact.
  • Support development of measurement plans before campaign activation to ensure campaigns can be evaluated appropriately.

Data, Automation & Business Intelligence

  • Use SQL and Python to ingest, transform, reconcile, validate, and analyze media and commercial datasets.
  • Work within Snowflake or similar cloud data environments to create reusable analytical datasets supporting media reporting and measurement.
  • Automate recurring media reporting, data-quality checks, and analytical workflows where appropriate.
  • Develop scalable Tableau dashboards and self-service reporting tools that reduce reliance on manual reporting.
  • Maintain clear documentation of media data sources, KPI definitions, transformation logic, and reporting methodologies.

Agency & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as an internal analytical counterpart to media agencies, publishers, platforms, and measurement partners.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to translate business and campaign objectives into appropriate KPIs, reporting, and measurement plans.
  • Review agency and partner reporting critically, identify areas requiring deeper investigation, and bring together internal and external data to develop an independent perspective on performance.
  • Communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Manage multiple media analytics and reporting priorities while maintaining strong communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Required

  • Approximately 4–7+ years of experience in media analytics, marketing analytics, digital analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong understanding of digital and omnichannel media measurement, including concepts such as impressions, reach, frequency, CPM, CPC, engagement, audience targeting, conversion, attribution, and incrementality.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or statistical analysis.
  • Experience developing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to move beyond reporting KPIs to identify performance drivers and translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Marketing, analytics teams, agencies, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior media agency experience or significant experience partnering directly with media agencies is preferred.
  • Experience analyzing campaign performance across paid social, programmatic display, CTV/video, linear TV, search, endemic media, or other digital channels.
  • Experience combining media data with field activity, HCP prescribing behavior and other commercial data sets.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical HCP and DTC media measurement is a plus.
  • Experience with marketing mix modeling, attribution, incrementality, experimentation, matched-control analysis, or geographic testing.
  • Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse.
