Role

TG is seeking a hard-working, motivated, and self-starting FP&A Financial Analyst to join the Finance and Accounting Department. This newly created position is located in New York, NY and reports to the Associate Director of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Supports the Associate Director of Finance in day-to-day activities

Analyze financial information (e.g. revenues, cost of goods sold, expenditures, and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget

Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range plans

Identify and analyze variances between actual and budgeted/forecasted financial results at the end of each reporting period

Create and maintain financial models

Support the month-end close process

Various administrative duties in support of the Finance team as required

Perform ad-hoc analyses in support of business initiatives

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, not required

Experience with budgeting and forecasting including: P&L Forecasting; Budget to Actual; Cash Flow Forecasting; Financial Modeling

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (specifically, advanced formulas, pivot tables and charts)

Journal entry preparation

Experience with NetSuite or other ERP accounting software systems

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Detail-oriented, with excellent organization skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to cope in a changing environment

Willingness to learn new tasks

Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task

Education

BA / BS degree in accounting, finance or economics, or related field

MS, MBA, and / or CPA or CFA is preferred, not required
