The Regional Marketing Director reports directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing and holds a critical commercial leadership role. The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of Regional Marketers ensuring optimal positioning of the brand in their respective region.  The Regional Marketing Director will align the team to the national strategic and tactical plan to identified regional needs and manage commercial activities with key thought leaders in collaboration with the product marketing team and field partners to execute promotional activities at key accounts.  This role will also support the pre-launch brand process, coordinate cross functional planning and build plans to execute and maximize both patient benefit and commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will help lead the commercial thought leader engagement plan and communicate updates and progress to the leadership team.

Support physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses .when needed

Identify the business needs for insight generation through advisory boards. Work with Product Marketing leads in content development and facilitation of the meetings.

Oversee identification and profiling of KOLs across the nation to help drive key insights and promotional activities

Stay abreast to the changing market and implement strategies that fit regional needs

Support and oversee the identification of appropriate HCP’s to join TG’s Speaker Bureau.

Support and oversee training to contracted speakers on approved TG branded and unbranded content

Responsible for managing speaker vendor and developing and tracking KPI’s for Speaker Bureau and providing regular reporting to full brand team and leadership.

Work with cross-functional teams to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution

The Regional Marketing Director will help to support the strategic vision for multiple brands and will significantly contribute to Company’s overall success.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned, high energy, high integrity leader, and a solid team player with the relevant experiences in the functions above, as well as the requisite expertise in leadership, team development, and organizational strategy.  A broad network in the oncology eco-system and a track record of success launching brands is highly desirable.  We value a leader who has exceptional communication skills and can adapt to challenging and/or changing market conditions across diverse businesses.  An ability to partner and collaborate successfully with other company leaders and customers is also required.

Min 5+ years of diverse pharma/ biotech commercial depth.

Preferred 2+ years of home office marketing experience

Success in leading a team by setting clear objectives, providing timely coaching, and assessing performance to develop future leaders within TG Therapeutics.

Depth of both strategic and executional leadership expertise in the Hematology space with a successful track record of launching Oncology/Hematology brands in competitive markets.

Strong network of relationships with HCP’s and key opinion leaders in the lymphoma and/or CLL marketplace.

Keen understanding of macro healthcare trends and their impact on the business

Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex/competitive disease states. Desire to continuously learn and improve by applying new knowledge and skills on the job

Demonstrated accountability to deliver results while managing competing priorities

Demonstrated understanding of all associated relevant legal, compliance and regulatory policies.

Demonstrated experience in budgeting, planning, and executing promotional speaker programs

Strong collaboration and leadership skills to influence internal and other decision-makers.

Strong communications skills. Capable of engaging senior executive management and other audiences.

Ability to build, manage, and lead multiple cross-functional partnerships and initiatives simultaneously


Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree is preferable.
