Role

The Neurology Regional Marketing Director reports directly to the Executive Director of Marketing and holds a critical commercial leadership role. The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of Regional Marketers and for ensuring optimal positioning of the brand in their respective region.  The Regional Marketing Director will align to the national strategic and tactical plan to identified regional needs and manage commercial activities with key thought leaders in collaboration with the product marketing team and field partners to execute promotional activities at key accounts.  This role will also support the pre-launch brand process, coordinate cross functional planning and build plans to execute and maximize both patient benefit and commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

The candidate will champion the commercial thought leader engagement plan

Execute physician engagement activities in the field and at key congresses

Facilitate, participate in, and attend advisory boards, where appropriate

Works to source, hire, orient, train and manage the Regional Marketing team within their regions

Set clear objectives, coach, mentor and assess performance and skill level to develop future leaders within TG Therapeutics

Identify, profile, segment KOLs in respective geographic area to help drive key insights and promotional activities

Stay abreast to the changing market and implement strategies that fit regional needs

Work with sales management and the marketing team on potential speakers for multiple sclerosis disease education and promotional speakers’ bureau

Serve as point for identification of HCP Speakers with field team in the execution of speaker programs

Provide continual or one-off training to contracted speakers on approved TG branded and unbranded content

Responsible for developing and tracking KPI for Speaker Bureau and providing regular reporting to full brand team

Ensure budgets and resources are effectively managed within agreed upon limits and plans effectively implemented

Provide input and support in developing account plans for Sales

Provide field-based training support for Sales when needed

Work with cross-functional teams to provide key customer insights and input on strategy, tactics, messaging, and program execution

 

The Regional Marketing Director will help to support the strategic vision for multiple brands and will significantly contribute to Company’s overall success.

–           Serve as the disease area expert and providing support to cross functional team members, including onboarding and review of materials

Professional Experience/Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned, high energy, high integrity leader, and a solid team player with the relevant experiences in the functions above, as well as the requisite expertise in leadership, team development, and organizational strategy.  A broad network in the neurology eco-system and a track record of success launching brands is highly desirable.  We value a leader who has exceptional communication skills and can adapt to challenging and/or changing market conditions across diverse businesses.  An ability to partner and collaborate successfully with other company leaders and customers is also required.

Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred

Min 5+ years of diverse pharma/ biotech commercial depth.

Depth of both strategic and executional leadership expertise in neurology.

Successful track record of success launching neurology brands in competitive markets.

Strong network of relationships with HCP’s and key opinion leaders in the neurology marketplace.

Keen understanding of macro healthcare trends and their impact on the business

Clinical knowledge and aptitude in complex/competitive disease states. Desire to continuously learn and improve by applying new knowledge and skills on the job

Demonstrated accountability to deliver results while managing competing priorities

Demonstrated understanding of all associated relevant legal, compliance and regulatory policies.

Demonstrated experience in budgeting, planning, and executing promotional speaker programs

Strong collaboration and leadership skills to influence internal and other decision-makers.

Strong communications skills. Capable of engaging senior executive management and other audiences.

Ability to build, manage, and lead multiple cross-functional partnerships and initiatives simultaneously

25% of the time (post-pandemic).

•           Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree is preferable.
