Role
This position supports the company Supply Chain activities, including; System administration, data entry, optimizing and monitoring, for systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Serialization (Tracelink), Clinical Interactive Response Technology (IRT), and Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) for Customs clearance; Global Shipping needs, including shipment paperwork, customs clearance, and processes for recovery of Value Added Tax (VAT) and Goods & Services Taxes (GST); Development & Maintenance of Supply Chain Metrics; and Owner of the inventory and manufacturing portions of the ERP system requiring accurate and up to date information across the entire supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
––Ensure support systems are accurate and up to date. Provide updates and entries as needed.
––Provide support for Sales & Operating Planning (S&OP) meetings
––Coordinate shipments including review / approval / retention of shipping documentation, carrier coordination, and Customs clearance
––Maintain shipment schedule
––Manage the VAT / Goods & Sales Tax recovery process
––Inventory Management including reporting, cycle counts, physical inventories, aging reports, and key raw materials. Identify and propose options to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
––Develop and maintain IRT planning parameters in conjunction with Clinical Operations
––Responsible for the inventory portion of the monthly close
––Manage supply chain transportation partners
––Other responsibilities as needed
––Travel to CMOs / Suppliers 10-20%
– Serve as the disease area expert and providing support to cross functional team members, including onboarding and review of materials
Professional Experience/Qualifications
––In depth knowledge of production planning in an ERP system environment, including what if scenarios, Net Suite preferred
––Experience with and knowledge of domestic and international shipping requirements, including import/export customs requirements, FDA requirements, Harmonized Tariff codes, packing lists, Bills of Lading, etc.
––Experience working in a GXP regulatory environment
––Working knowledge of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) for commercial product labeling
––Experience with Clinical Trials and IRT Systems is a plus
––Proficient operation of a personal computer, including spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs
––Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a team environment
––At least 5-7 years’ experience in supply chain
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
Education
––BS in Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent
––APICS Certification or equivalent is desired
