Role
The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Access Marketing is responsible for for leading the execution of effective strategies and tactics across the various Market Access channels, including development of innovative access resources and non-personal promotion and tracking and monitoring of access field team insights across competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
––Develop market access strategies, promotional materials, programs, and tactics to support access objectives in the payer, IDN, distribution, GPO, federal channels
––Lead the development of appropriate access messaging, programs, and support/pull through materials
––Support branding initiatives for TG’s patient support program and lead development of patient support marketing materials
––Represent the market access perspective in supporting the brand marketing teams objectives in cross functional settings
––Represent the Market Access Marketing team as the subject matter expert at promotional review committee meetings, as well as other internal meetings.
––Participate in cross functional sub-teams to ensure alignment and appropriate execution on brand plan; become a trusted partner and contributor in this setting
––Manage relationships with strategic partners and vendors to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner while remaining on budget
––Analyze qualitative and quantitative market research to gain a deeper understanding of customers, brand, disease area, and marketplace
––Track and monitor field team insights and payer coverage policies; refine access strategies as needed
––Contribute to strategies and tactics that will optimize access to and affordability of our products
Professional Experience/Qualifications
––Four to eight years of experience in pharmaceutical Marketing/Market Access Marketing preferred
––Oncology experience preferred
––Demonstrated ability to shift focus between strategy, planning, and execution with agility and strict attention to detail
––Demonstrated strong analytical, planning, project management and organizational skills
––Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and ability to work effectively in complex and rapidly changing environments
––Proven ability to lead work groups, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate
––Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to effectively communicate across multiple functions and up to executive management levels
––Flexibility and entrepreneurial skills in a growing and ever-changing organization.
––This position requires moderate travel (20% – 25%)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree is preferable.
