Role
The Training Manager will be responsible for executing training initiatives for the Commercialization Team at TG Therapeutics. Primary responsibilities include supporting the design, development, delivery, deployment and maintenance of the commercialization training plan. The Training Manager will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, Legal, Compliance, and IT to address specific business and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities
––Identify, support and execute tactics aligned to tumor specific strategic imperatives and the overarching training strategy with a focus on selling skills, clinical acumen, disease state knowledge, competitive landscape, analytics and the Business of Oncology/Hematology
––Coordinate across the organization’s cross-functional teams to ensure training resources meet Sales and Marketing goals/objectives and align with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance
––Partner with training and marketing colleagues, sales leadership, and commercial operations to consistently implement results-focused, performance-based, standardized learning and development
––Work with and/or manage external vendors and consultants
––Support development and facilitation of a blended mix of training incorporating adult learning principles (i.e., Instructor-led live training events and virtual/remote learning leveraging various technology)
––Be a subject matter, product/disease state and marketplace expert (preference for CLL and/or iNHL)
––Lead and manage the New Hire Onboarding and Home Study process including schedules, content, touchpoints, assessments, etc.
––Act as a liaison between the field force and Home Office to identify and communicate training needs
––Meet tight timelines with urgency and flexibility
––Assess and analyze training effectiveness
––Skillfully manage and prioritize multiple projects and work streams
––Demonstrate passion for Oncology/Hematology and the patients we serve
Professional Experience/Qualifications
––5+ years successful Hematology/Oncology relevant experience is required for Manager level role, with additional experience (i.e. 7-10 years) enabling consideration for leveling at Sr. Manager
––Former training experience preferred (Regional Trainer, Home-office Trainer, Preceptorship, etc.)
––Proven success in performing responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility, objectivity, appropriate demeanor, and professionalism
––The ability to excel in a cross-functional and fast-paced team environment
––Exceptional written communication and presentation/facilitation skills that support teaching complex topics
––Strong organizational, project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects.
––Must be able to self-motivate and demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to perform effectively with limited supervision
––High level of selling skills with the ability to coach others to develop effective selling and professional skills
––Experience with key software and hardware is preferred (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Web meetings, Outlook, LMS, iPad, etc.)
Education
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related discipline is preferred.
