Role
The Product Manager / Senior Product Manager, Marketing, reports directly to the Director of Marketing and holds a critical commercial role. This role will be responsible for supporting the pre-launch product/brand process, coordinate cross functional planning and build plans to execute and maximize both patient benefit and commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
––Champion company strategy and drive the creation of a long-term readiness plan for product launch and commercialization, including developing and implementing plans aligned with new product planning.
––Support brand planning and strategy development
––Contribute to development of full commercialization strategy for umbralisib and ublituximab
––Develop and implement pre-launch plans and activities related to go-to market planning, market analytics, primary and secondary market research, data strategy, competitive intelligence, forecast modeling, and customer profiling and mapping.
––Assist with development of overall message platform, scenario planning, strategic choice work, label optimization/filing strategies, and other key projects/activities
––Support the development of key performance metrics for brand, project, launch and marketing programs aligned with strategy and corporate objectives
––Ensure budgets and resources are effectively managed within agreed upon limits and plans are effectively implemented
––Build new and leverage existing relationships with national medical experts and leverage the insights collected to support launch plan and lifecycle management activities
––Help to set the strategic vision for multiple brands and will significantly contribute to Company’s overall success.
Professional Experience/Qualifications
––We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated, solutions oriented and solid team player with the relevant experiences in the functions above. A broad network in the oncology eco-system and a track record of success launching brands is highly desirable. We value someone who has exceptional communication skills and can adapt to challenging and/or changing market conditions across diverse businesses. An ability to partner and collaborate successfully with other company leaders and customers is also required.
––Successful track record of success launching oncology brands in competitive markets.
––Strong network of relationships across various stakeholders in oncology market place including GPOs, KOLs, advocacy, vendors, consultants etc.
––Strong experience in hematology/oncology and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) preferred
––Keen understanding of macro healthcare trends and their impact on the business
––Knowledge of the specialty product buying process across geographies and various sites of care, including specific drivers and barriers of product acquisition
––Demonstrated understanding of all associated relevant legal, compliance and regulatory policies.
––Strong collaboration and leadership skills to influence internal and other decision-makers.
––Strong communications skills. Capable of engaging senior management and other audiences.
––Ability to build, manage, and lead multiple cross-functional partnerships and initiatives simultaneously
––This position requires moderate travel (25% – 30%)
Education
Bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree is preferable.
