Role

The Associate Director, Field Operations reports to the Senior Director of Commercial Operations & Field Force Effectiveness. This is an important role on the Commercial team and is a key day-to-day partner with Sales, Marketing, Market Access and Medical Affairs. This individual is responsible for designing and implementing systems, applications and processes to ensure commercial launch readiness and successful operations post-launch. In addition, they will support resource planning and organizational development across multiple launches.

Key Responsibilities

Veeva CRM and Commercial Systems:

Design and implement Veeva CRM including data integration with data aggregator, MDM management, and data warehouse

Collaborate with stakeholders in Sales and Marketing to develop and deploy Veeva Approved Email templates

Provide support as needed for MRC review of Veeva CRM content

Design reports and dashboards in salesforce.com to enable field leadership to self-service their data needs

Help ensure compliance and address skill gaps among field-based teams through ongoing training, support and sharing of best practices

Collaborate with Training to develop a curriculum for field-based sales and medical teams that will ensure efficient use of systems and processes

Coordinate with third party data providers to investigate data inquiries, issue resolution, and fulfill ad hoc data requests

Coordinate with Director, Commercial IT to create functional/technical requirements and changes in data flows and field reporting

 

Field Operations:

Implement field sales operations initiatives to drive overall commercial excellence, provide sales operations support to the National Sales lead and support field teams including Market Access and Medical Affairs

Support field sizing, targeting, and alignments across multiple launches

Act as a business partner to field-based teams by joining regional meetings to understand local issues and provide guidance on challenges

Collaborate with Training to assist field-based teams with Vendor Credentialing process

Develop and manage process for field communications

Document Sales Ops processes and responsibilities, including workflows that impact the broader organization

Serve as a subject matter expert for Sales Operations processes and procedures, including but not limited to, incentive compensation, customer/geography alignment management, and account planning

 

Field Force Effectiveness:

Support strategic initiatives by leveraging analytics and insights to improve promotional impact and customer experience

Professional Experience/Qualifications

TG Therapeutics is looking for a seasoned, energetic, high-integrity professional who is a team player and enjoys wearing multiple hats. This individual will have the relevant experiences in the job functions described above as well as the requisite expertise in Field Operations.

Strong knowledge of the sales process and marketing of commercially successful biotech/pharma products

Is a self-starter who can be a key business partner to the Commercial team and quickly understand and solve operational challenges and issues

Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engagement with sales leadership, and the ability to build trusting and productive working relationships

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy/attention to detail

Ability to work with colleagues from diverse backgrounds

Learning agility and ‘scalability’ to take on increasing responsibility

Ability to operate and execute in a compliant manner in conjunction with legal guidelines and understand the legal and compliance environment

 

Experience and Skills

Minimum of 5-7 years’ field operations experience within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry

Deep expertise in Veeva CRM, Excel and data visualization

Fundamental knowledge of incentive compensation, targeting and mapping tools

Previous experience in Field Operations is required

Consistent demonstration of a customer centric approach with the field sales organization

Education

– BA/BS degree required in business and/or life sciences required
